How to Set Up Intent Finder Campaigns

This article walks you through how to create Keyword Lead Campaigns, configure targeting, estimate lead volume, and launch the campaign successfully.

What Is a Keyword Leads Campaign?

A Keyword Leads Campaign allows your business to receive leads based on specific search keywords people use on platforms like Google, Bing, or Yahoo.

For example, if you’re a real estate agent, people may search for:

  • “real estate agent near me”

  • “sell my home”

  • “buy a home”

  • “listing agent”

Instead of paying high costs per lead through traditional pay-per-click ads, this program allows you to target the same keywords at a significantly lower cost, while also collecting advanced lead information.

Step 1: Create a New Campaign

1. Navigate to Campaigns.

2. Click Add Campaign.

3. Select Keyword Leads Campaign.

4. Give your campaign a name (for example: Keyword Leads Campaign).

This campaign name is also where your Google Sheet leads will be sent, so naming it clearly is important.

Step 2: Choose Your Target Area

Next, define where you want to receive leads from.

  • Are you a national business?

  • A statewide business?

  • Or a local business serving specific ZIP codes?

If you are a local brick-and-mortar business:

1. Enter your ZIP codes.

2. Add one ZIP code per line.

3. Scroll down once complete.

Step 3: Set Daily Lead Limits

You’ll now see an option to cap the number of contacts per day.

  • If you want a minimum or maximum number of leads per day, enter that amount.

  • This helps control volume and cost since you are paying per lead.

Step 4: Choose Lead Data Type (Important)

You’ll be asked to choose between:

  • Basic information, or

  • Advanced information

Recommended Selection:

  • Advanced information (recommended)

Advanced information may include:

  • Credit scores

  • Household income

  • Estimated home value

  • Additional demographic data

Phone numbers may not always be reliable. We recommend deselecting phone numbers if prompted and focusing on the rest of the advanced data.

Step 5: Save the Campaign

Once your selections are complete:

1. Click Save.

2. This will create the campaign.

Step 6: Estimate Lead Volume (Very Important)

Before launching, we recommend estimating how many leads your keywords will generate.

1. In the top-right corner, click the three dots.

2. Select Search Volume Estimate.

3. Enter your target keywords (examples):

o “real estate agent”

o “sell my home”

o “buy a home”

o “listing agent”

4. Click Get Count.

The system will run a report and estimate how many leads you may receive based on:

  • Your keywords

  • Your ZIP codes

  • Data from the last 7 days

You’ll be notified when the report is ready, and you can also refresh the page to view results.

Step 7: Review the Results

Once the report is complete, you’ll see:

  • Total keyword search volume (nationally and locally)

  • Estimated number of leads in your specific ZIP codes

  • A 7-day lookback showing how many contacts recently searched those keywords

Use this data to:

  • Adjust keywords

  • Refine targeting

  • Improve campaign performance

Step 8: Edit Keywords (If Needed)

Based on the report:

1. Go back into Edit Campaign.

2. Update or refine keywords.

3. Click Save again.

Step 9: Set Budget and Integrations

1. Set your budget for the campaign.

2. Review the Integrations tab:

o This shows the Google Sheet where all leads will be sent.

3. Confirm everything is correct.

Step 10: Start the Campaign

Once everything is ready:

1. Click Play / Start Campaign.

2. Your campaign is now live and collecting leads.
